What’s included
Six printable Christmas tree cards with a short play dough prompt on each: straight branches, pointed branches, wavy branches, scalloped branches, a zigzag tree and a ribbon tree. The cards print two per A4 page.
How to play
Print the cards, cut them out and choose a tree. For the straight branches, roll five pieces of dough and arrange them from shortest to longest. For the ribbon tree, roll a long piece and bend it from side to side, or join shorter pieces as you go. Rolling, pinching and bending the dough gives little fingers practice making different shapes and patterns.
Laminate the cards or pop them into wipe-clean sleeves so you can use them again at home or in your early years setting.
